STATION ONE
In 1945 the property and building at 43 Rehoboth Avenue were sold and the Fire Company purchased part of the lot at 71 Rehoboth Avenue from the city for $2,000. In 1949 construction of a New Fire Station on lots 69 and 71 Rehoboth Avenue was completed at a cost of $56,000. (This is the center section of today's Fire Station at 219 Rehoboth Avenue.)  In 1953 the Company purchased the rest of lot 71 from the City for $1,200. In 1958 constuctions was begun on a  one story addition to the Fire Station. The cost of this addition was $35,600 and again much of the labor and materials were donated. The company purchased the lot at 67 Rehoboth Avenue in 1964 and lot 65 in 1973. The year 1975 marked the completion of a $200,000, two-story, three engine bay addition to the Fire Station. Today's Current Fire Station #1 was now complete.

In 1993 the Company undertook a $150,000 renovation project to Station One. This project included replacing the roof on the 1975 addition, remodeling the front ramp and sidewalk area with thicker and stronger concrete to hold the weight of the newer, heavier Apparatus. The renovated front entrance now houses the Original Fire Alarm Bell used to alert members to calls prior to the installation of electric sirens. This Bell was "Dedeicated to the Rehoboth Beach Fire Company in 1906 by the citizens of Rehoboth Beach"
